The brief
Redevelop an old WordPress database containing methodologies, studio practice, and key information from the Slade School of Fine Arts, into a modern and accessible knowledge database.
Process
Our process involved extensive research into the existing database structure and user needs, followed by iterative design and development cycles to create a more intuitive and accessible interface. Our aim trying to facilitate peer to peer learning and collaboration between UCL Campuses.
Outcome
Our efforts resulted in a database that better serves the needs of Slade students. Given the timeframe, we managed to have a running prototype available on Github, and have presented our findings to the UCL Deans Fund, awaiting further funding.
